25명의 시선으로 빚은 ‘저마다의 우주’_我的网站

一 |     아리안갤러리 ‘각자의 우주’展, 국제 교류 프로젝트 첫 장 열어                   다니엘라 하우레기(Daniela Jauregui·멕시코) 작가의 ‘Where is the Beautiful Heaven’. 아리안갤러리 제공국내외 작가 25명이 서로 다른 우주를 펼쳐놓았다. 배경도, 언어도 다르지만 이들이 만든 우주는 어느 지점에서 공명하며 새로운 에너지를 뿜어낸다.아리안갤러리(부산 해운대구 중동)에서 열린 전시 ‘After the present : 각자의 우주’는 다양한 나라의 작가들이 우주를 주제로 각자의 작업을 모은 보기 드문 국제전이다. 국내 작가 12명(곽태임 구인성 김진자 김성철 김상구 김성헌 서유정 이인우 윤상건 오선옥 이페로 하민지)과 다양한 국적의 해외 작가 13명(폴란드 이탈리아 싱가포르 에티오피아 멕시코 독일 벨기에 튀르키예)이 참여했다.이들은 회화 판화 조각 설치 사진 미디어 등의 매체를 통해 각자의 우주를 펼쳐 놓았다. 그리고 25명의 우주는 기억과 반복, 회복과 뿌리, 종의 경계, 물성의 저항, 몸과 존재의 심연 등 다섯 개의 결로 구분되고 연결된다. 그렇게 작가들이 각자 열어 놓은 예술의 우주는 다양성을 포용하며 또 다른 거대한 세계를 형성한다.갤러리 측은 부산에서 시작한 전시가 튀르키예 등 다른 국가의 도시로 이어지며 국경을 넘는 예술적 교류 프로젝트가 될 것이라고 소개했다. 전시를 기획한 김주옥 기획자 겸 비평가(서울과학기술대학교 조형대학 금속공예디자인과 교수)는 “이번 전시는 대륙을 옮겨가며 이어질 여정의 첫 장”이라고 설명하며 “도시와 도시, 대륙과 대륙으로 전시가 이어지며 동시대의 미술이 전 세계로 연결되고 그것이 무한한 가능성을 보여주는 장이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다. 전시는 다음 달 4일까지 열리며, 낮 12시부터 오후 6시까지 관람할 수 있다. 일·월·공휴일 휴관.。
